Referral Ambassador Terms

Placeholder language. These terms are a plain-English summary of how the program is intended to operate and must be reviewed and finalized by qualified legal counsel before being relied upon.

Placeholder document. This page is provided for review purposes only. It is not legal advice and is not a final agreement.

1. Relationship

Participation in the Referral Ambassador program is a referral relationship only. An Ambassador is not an employee, agent, broker, representative, partner or joint venturer of Revenue Return, and has no authority to bind Revenue Return or to act on its behalf.

2. What an Ambassador does

An Ambassador introduces businesses that may benefit from Revenue Return services. An Ambassador does not quote pricing, negotiate terms, prepare agreements, collect sensitive business or financial documents, or make representations about savings, results, approvals or outcomes.

3. Approval and good standing

Registration does not guarantee acceptance. Revenue Return may approve, decline, suspend or end an Ambassador's participation at any time, including where a submission appears inaccurate, duplicated, purchased, obtained without a genuine relationship, or obtained in a way that conflicts with applicable law or another agreement the Ambassador has.

4. Compensation

Referral compensation is described in the Referral Compensation Terms. It is discretionary, is reviewed and approved individually, is never calculated automatically, and is not a commission, salary, wage or guarantee of income.

5. Privacy and confidentiality

Ambassadors may only submit information they are permitted to share, and must confirm they have a genuine relationship with the business being referred. Referral details, business information and program materials are confidential and may not be resold, republished or used for any other purpose. See the Privacy Policy.

6. Conduct

Ambassadors agree not to use spam, automated messaging, purchased lists, misleading statements, or the Revenue Return name or marks in advertising without written permission.

7. Data retention and account deletion

Registration and referral records are retained for as long as needed to administer the program and to satisfy legal, tax and recordkeeping obligations. An Ambassador may request account deletion or a copy of their information by contacting Revenue Return; some records may be retained where required by law.

8. Changes

These terms, the program structure, and any compensation amounts may change. Continued participation after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
