How the process typically runs
Criteria registration, then a qualification conversation, then a signed confidentiality agreement before any business-specific material is released. From there, you receive a summary package, direct owner conversations if both sides agree, and diligence conducted with your own legal, tax and financial advisors.
This page collects buyer interest only. It is not an offer or solicitation to sell any business or security. Any acquisition discussions require independent legal, tax, and financial advisors on both sides. Revenue Return™ is not a licensed business broker or M&A intermediary unless separately and specifically disclosed.
Buyer questions we answer before any introduction
Do I need proof of funds to register?
No. You can register criteria while you are still arranging capital. Proof of funds or a lender pre-qualification is requested before any seller introduction, because sellers will not release financials otherwise.
Will I see seller names or financials right away?
No. Seller identity, location detail and financial statements are only released after a signed confidentiality agreement and a basic qualification review. This protects operating businesses whose staff and customers do not know they are being valued.
What size businesses appear in the pipeline?
Most are owner-operated local businesses in the roughly $500,000 to $10,000,000 enterprise-value range — service trades, restaurants and hospitality, auto and repair, retail, and small B2B operators. Some are pre-market owners still improving profitability before listing.
Is Revenue Return™ acting as a business broker?
No. Revenue Return™ is not a licensed business broker or M&A intermediary unless separately and specifically disclosed. We prepare valuation and profit-intelligence analysis for owners; buyer interest registration exists so improvement-stage sellers can be matched with realistic acquirers at the right time.
What happens after I submit?
Your criteria are recorded confidentially and reviewed against current and upcoming seller opportunities. If nothing fits today, your criteria stay on file and you are contacted when a match appears. You can request removal at any time.
